Why would the doctor do these tests?

My old doctor retired and I found a new one. At this visit, I needed to have an examination. There are a couple of the things I had to do I did not understand and I was too shy to ask why. Ther first one was I had to count backwards from 30 to 1. Another one was that the doctor tapped my neck.

I can't imagine why ANYONE would be "too shy" to ask his doctor "why", if there's something he doesn't understand.

From these tests, your doctor is wondering why you don't ask him questions. Good health care starts with communication between patient and doctor.

President Tweety says he passed cognitive tests. Apparently you have too.

    In USA:

    To count back = 30$

To tap the neck = 70$
