 A car's value decreases from £4000 to £2800 in one year. By what percentage does its value decrease?

    Value decreases L1200 from L4000 to L2800. %decrease = 100(1200/4000)% =;

    100(12/40)% = 30%.

    Value of car in one year:(2800/4000) times 100 = 70%

    Decrease in value: 100% - 70% = 30%
