I already got my answers just wanting to check them?
Use the following units:
Answers should be to 3 significant figures.
If a specific compound is mentioned in the problem, include the chemical formula in the answer. If the problem states a generic gas, do not include the word gas in the final answer.
1.How many mmHg are in 1.74 atm?
2.How many kelvin are in 68.5 degrees C?
my answers 1) 1322
my answer 2) 342

(1.74 atm) * (760mmHg / 1atm) = 1.32x10^3 mmHg
(68.5°C + 273.15K) = 341.6 K
the first answer is limited to 3 sig figs
the second answer is limited in precision to the 0.1's column
if you're wondering about the sig figs
.. (1) for multiplication / division, the answer is limited to the same number
.. .. ..of sig figs as the factor with the least number of sig figs
.. . .. . 1.74 has 3 sig figs
.. . .. . 760 and 1 are exact with infinite sig figs
.. . .. ..so the answer is limited to 3 sig figs
.. (2) for addition and subtraction, the final answer is limited to the
.. . .. precision of the least precise addend.
.. . . . .68.5 is precise to the 0.1's column
.. . .. ..273.15 is precise to the 0.01's column
.. . .. ..so the result is limited to the lower precision.. 0.1's column

The second is correct.
The first one is correct, but it has 4 significant figures and not 3. The best way to express that answer with 3 significant figures is to write it in scientific notation: 1.32X10^3 mm Hg
