What makes a photographer's job difficult for ordinary people?

Everyone has a phone usually with good camera, so why can't everyone do what a photographer does?

Actually the cameras on phones are squat compared to professional cameras.  Photographers learn how to wield those to produce high quality images.

    Aesthetics, or lack there of.

Professional photographers often take dozens, or even hundreds of shots of a subject. Out of those, maybe one or two will be good enough to be saved.

Most people take ONE shot, and hope it will be adequate, not hundreds to get the "right" one.
