    Assuming a right circular cylinder, the total area is the sum of the area of the curved surface, 2πrh, and the area of both circular ends, 2πr²

    A = 2πr(r+h)

    The general formula for the total surface area of a cylinder is

    T. S. A. = 2πrh + 2πr^2 = 2πr(h + r) = 2πr(r + h).

    Solve for surface area

    A=2πrh+2πr2

    r Radius

    Enter value

    h Height

    Enter value
