What do you do to cultivate gratitude in your life?

    Sometimes if I just look around -- literally -- I am amazed.  I can start listing wonderful things.  

    And even during the dismal times when I seem unable to appreciate what I have, I can be grateful for what I have not suffered.

    I sometimes try to think of the kindnesses that people have done to me.

    I pay all of my bills on time and try not to bother those around me.  What else is there?

    Grattitude is the response of another to one's actions or lack there of so you can't 'cultivate' gratitude, it is given.

    Gratitude is not cultivated, however it is harvested.....you have much to be grateful for

    I am grateful when someone does something for me. I do not need to cultivate that feeling.
