2 power source in 1LED?

It's working fine right now but I'm just curious if it is a safe idea?

Yes, you can use diode separated power supplies to drive the LED.  The diodes prevent one supply from driving the second if the second supply fails.  It is OK and safe.

No points to use two diodes in parallel to control one LED. Besides, it is in DC power source, diode is not needed but a suitable value resistor is needed to drop down the excess voltage to avoid burning the LED.
