Do airport police carry handcuffs? If so, can they place me under arrest?

    I've NEVER worried about being arrested at an airport.

    If they are police, they have full police powers. Handcuffs are not the issue.

    If they are airport security, they have the same authority as any other private security.

    A sworn officer ... including airport, transit & harbor police .... have the legal authority to arrest you, take you in to custody, and deliver you to the appropriate jail.

    OR something similar and yes ...................................BUT it'll be a FEDERAL wrap, so don't expect to see daylight for a LONG TIME .................
