Right wing oligarchical cronyism spared Nixon the harsh hand of justice. It's still prevalent today because they get away w/ it. At least Ford paid a minor price because he lost the 1976 election.

Barr says a sitting president can't be indicted and the rep Senate covered up trump's misconduct by disallowing witnesses/documents at the impeachment trial etc.
