I went out to ***** to buy 3 litres of apple juice and a packet of sugar and they wouldn't serve me because they (correctly btw) assumed ?

I WAS home brewing.  I had to go to another well known supernarket who happily took my money. 

Caring attitide or PC gone maaaàd?

    Stop trolling. Three litres of apple juice is three cartons and there's no way the supermarkets would stop you buying that.

    It's not illegal to home brew anyway.

    Could be either, could be legal liability. Depends on the law where you are.

      South Wales.  EVERYONE does it. Ok, next time by juice & sugar in different shopd. No biggy.
