The "HDMI Stuff", what is that? I get my TV through the HDMI port.

In you TV Menu you'll have a popup option for "TV Input" or something similar to that.  Select it and you get a list of various input portals for your TV.  You'll find HDMI1, HDMI2 etc. with HDMI1 probably selected for cable/satellite input.  There will be other input portals as well.

Select one for your game box and hook the game box to that opening in the back (or side) of the TV.  Now when you want to play a game rather than watch TV, turn on the set, go to the Menu, and select the portal that you have your game box hooked into.  And there you are...ready to game.
