Is it true that most welll-behaved kids at school, behave worser at home?!They're afraid of getting in trouble at school?

    No. What we do know from research is that kids who are spanked or physically punished at home tend to act out MORE at school than those who are not, and they do worse academically. 

    Punishment only deters behavior temporarily, and prompts people to figure out ways to avoid the punishment and get away with the behavior. When kids are motivated by wanting to keep the good opinion of their parents and teachers, the regulation is internal and much more powerful.
