Which economy? Local economies, bad. America's economy, it's a mixed bag. If Amazon weren't unevenly concentrating soon-to-be $1 trillion of wealth in Jeff Bezos and if Amazon or Jeff Bezos weren't paying $0 in taxes, meaning Joe Plumber is paying more taxes, then it would be an unmitigated "good" for the American economy, but it's not. The wealth disparity and the extremely rich not paying taxes while the middle class and the working class, who hold less than 5% of American wealth but pay 90% of US tax revenue, are two of the biggest dangers to the ongoing concern that is the US economy.
