The cop who killed George Floyd has been charged with "3d degree murder" did they invent that term for this case? There Is 1st and 2nd only?

3d degree murder...there is no such thing. There is only murder in the 1st degree and murder in the 2nd degree.

    Yes. There is such a thing. And, pretty obviously since they CHARGED him with it. You don't think if they made up a fake charge that people would be mentioning it?
