# physics question...?

g_moon is (1/6)^th the acceleration on Earth. Compare the angular frequency w_moon = w' or swinging a pendulum vs swinging the same pendulum on earth w_moon = w_earth.

A. w'= (sq. root of 6) w

B. w' = w

C. w'= 6w

D. w'= 36w

E. w'= (1/36)w

F. w'= (1/sq. root of 6)w

Please help, don't get this!!

f = √g / k

fe = √ ge / k

fm = √ gm / k

fm/fe = √ gm/ge = √ 1/6 or 1/√ 6

since ω = 2PI*f, then ωm/ωe = 1/√ 6 and ωm = ωe/√ 6 ( answer F )
