If someone in America isn't white do you consider them a foreigner?

I am not white but I am a US citizen and born here. I haven't even left the country except to canada a few times. I guess I'm used to it now but when I think about it, it's really surprising how often I have been treated as an immigrant or foreigner based on my skin colour. People assume I can speak another language or they ask me questions about my "home" and what life is like there. They just automatically assume I'm from another country. I have even had people at new jobs ask me if I can speak English. Do you consider non whites to be foreigners?

    That is abjectly absurd.
