In Bible times, miracles were performed for a purpose. 1- to help people understand that the power to do such miracles came from God, they weren't able to do them on their own.  (Exodus 4: 1-9) ;  2- The people who was present to see the miracles performed by Jesus and by Moses drew this conclusion that God was giving them to power to do these miracles. ( Exodus 4: 28-31 ,  John 9:17 ,  John 31-33) ;  3- By means of miracles, people were able to clearly see that God was in fact behind Christianity.  4- As some time passed, miracles would stop. (1 Corinthians 13: 8-11)

Miracles are no longer performed today by means of God. Everyone now has enough information today to come to know God and his purposes without the use of miracles.

Even if there were still miracles from God today, there would be some who didn't believe, just like in Bible times.

John 12: 9-11 "Meanwhile, a large crowd of Jews got to know that he was there, and they came not only because of Jesus but also to see Lazʹa·rus, whom he had raised up from the dead. 10 The chief priests now conspired to kill Lazʹa·rus also, 11 since it was because of him that many of the Jews were going there and putting faith in Jesus."

The very fact that there were miracles shows how much God cares about mankind. He could've have chose any miracles to perform to establish it was through him that miracles were able to be done, however, he also chose miracles such as healing sick one and even resurrecting from the dead!!! Our God is a loving God indeed!

God certainly cares for all of his creation. However, to see the abundance of his caring it is not always apparent in so called 'miracles.'Did you wake up this morning? Did you have the privilege of seeing, moving, eating, hearing. Was there sunshine or rain? Those are among the daily miracles of life.

The Bible tells us that God cannot die. Habakkuk 1: 12 (this is one Bible reference that helps us to know that Jesus is not God.)Many people want a 'sign,'something spectacular on which to hang their faith. So, consider what the Bible teaches about what God has done in the past, is doing now and has promised to do in the future. Genesis Chapter One and Two.Haggai 2:6, 7; Isaiah 30:28Revelation 21:3,4The locating and reading of the scriptures is in your hands to accomplish. Any student of the Bible knows that God's miraculous interventions were few and far between. They were never the norm, but done at special times for particular reasons, to show He was faithfully fulfilling His promise in Eden to raise up One who would eventually destroy the 'serpent' though having to first suffer 'bruising' at the evil one's hands first. Hundreds of years passed without a single miracle happening. Most of the OT era is devoid of miracles and answers to prayers because of the people of God violating God's covenant with them.

But after another 400 years 'silence' after Malachi the prophet, there was a great surge of miracles and answers to prayer with the coming of that promised One. When He was resurrected and returned to Heaven, He fulfilled the promise of the Holy Spirit being sent to establish and empower the new Church. Once that was done, that era of miracles ended but Christians know that power, and answers to prayers. Sadly, most people only ever seem interested in God doing miracles and things for them (to save them the task of being His faithful witnesses?) And then they wonder why it seems that God doesn't care anymore. Stop taking God for a fool.

What miracles?  Nothing in that religion is true, and it is easy to teach the stupid the lies of the bible, then give them excuses why prayers are not answered as claimed in the bible. Even the members have now learned to lie as good as priests and preachers to protect their ignorant belief.

Miracles and answers to prayer are still a very real part of life today.

Where have you been? God still reveals Himself in countless ways, including miracles, throughout His Church.

    • I thought even the church investigate miracles and found the majority of them were fraudulent and stopped short of condemning others. Apart from Lourdes which is dubious at best there are no real miracles to speak of other than perhaps  the findings of the royal commission into child sex abuse.

The Bible makes mention of various miracles. They served as identification of Jesus as the Messiah and that he had God's backing. God still cares and does listen as the "Hearer of prayer" (Psalm 65:2). While he does not directly intervene in our current time, the Bible still has a miraculous, transformative affect on people's lives. Hebrews 4:12 states: “The word of God is alive and exerts power." God will also soon act to bring about his promises in the future in which he will restore the earth to perfection where humans will live forever in perfect conditions with no more sickness and death. (Revelation 21:3,4).

The book of Isaiah holds a series of prophecies about the one who,at the right time, would be recognized as the Messiah.  The only one who fulfilled those prophecies was Jesus who became the Christ. Heb 4:12 reveals the power of holy scripture to reveal the spiritual  heart condition of every human

God still care, but He is not going to bring healing to those that ignore Him day after day, week after week. Jesus healed all THAT CAME TO HIM. He is still healing those that come to Him.
