What would happen if you energized Hydrogen?
What would happen if you energized hydrogen by giving a lot of electrons?
What properties would it have?

essentially, if you give a hydrogen atom electrons, it ceases being hydrogen.

Hydrogen won't accept "a lot of electrons".

"giving a lot of electrons" ... that won't happen. How would you even give hydrogen a lot of electrons? The electron affinity of hydrogen is fairly low, so there is only a slight tendency for gaseous hydrogen atoms to pick up an electron to form H- ions. But once the atom has acquired an electron, and a negative charge, it will repel other electrons.

you make a Hydrogen anion by adding an electron. You can only add one.
The hydrogen anion is the dominant bound-free opacity source at visible and near-infrared wavelengths in the atmospheres of stars like the Sun and cooler; its importance was first noted in the 1930s. The ion absorbs photons with energies in the range 0.75–4.0 eV, which ranges from the infrared into the visible spectrum.Source(s): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hydrogen_anion
