Hydroxychloroquine was no "approved" for COVID-19, but it was approved more than 50 years ago for malaria. Big Pharma is involved now. Hydroxychloroquine is about $.60 per pill. You don't even want to know what current medications cost. There's even a free treatment available: It's called sunshine, fresh air and exercise.

Many Doctors were taking HCQ while treating patients that had COVID-19 as an extra protection against contracting the virus

I am a conservative but in this case it isn't a Dem / Rep issue.. it is a medical science issue and even after testing 96000 cases... they say it doesn't work!  SO don't blame libs listen to real medical experts for a change. I know Trump doesn't agree but he sure does not have a Medical Degree nor does he walk on water!  (Yes I support him.. just not everything he says!)

In fairness, the negative study published last week in Lancet (a retrospective, not a randomized controlled study) is being questioned by scientists around the world for a number of reasons, including lack of statistical rigor, and issues about patient records, particularly from Africa.

Proves nothing. Small sample, no adjustment for age, nothing about dosage.  Pure speculation on an anecdote.  A study of 96000 people showed no effect and used comparisons to those not treated to determine it was ineffective.  It also showed increase risk of arrhythmia.  Still not the final word because it was not a controlled trial but is does not look promising.

Because anything Trump says he uses is bad. If Trump said that he was in favor of oxygen liberals will hold their breath.

Because of Trump Derangement Syndrome. Had Obama said it, the drug would be called the miracle drug.

Trump took the drug for two weeks, as suggested by his doctors. CNN reported he ONLY took it for two weeks, because he found it did not help.

Because Trump said it might be a big help. Imagine all the liberal schools and other outlets who spent millions to prove it was poison and the time they spent that could have been spent finding a vaccine. The hate is amazing! It obviously does work.

The WHO scientists reported that it was too dangerous to use and that it did more harm than good.  Your link seems to be to a Fox website so I obviously haven't bothered to follow it.

Your post mentions nothing about oxy or the controlled studies done with it
