It depends on what or who you have faith in. Do you have the right kind of faith in your Maker, who is IMMORTAL, INVISIBLE, THE ONLY WISE GOD; God Almighty your Creator, and Jesus Christ your Saviour & Deliverer & Lord who died for you but WHO NOW LIVES to intercede for you daily from heaven or do you have faith in mere mortal men? Do you have faith in what God has said, the promises He has made to us to save us if we will only follow Him, or do you have faith in what some already dead man or human being has said - somebody such as Mohammed of the Moslems, dead and buried years ago or David Koresh of the Davidians, long time dead - killed by fire; Judge Rutherford of the Jehovah Witnesses, long time dead & buried; Ron Hubbard of Scientology, dead and buried years ago; Jones of the Jonestown cult - dead many years ago from taking poison or being shot; or Joseph Smith of the Mormons, also dead and buried years ago? That's what is important in life, is realizing that these long time dead human so-called 'saviours' were johnny come lately's who are just jumped up deceivers of their day.
Make sure you have your faith in the RIGHT PERSON - the God of heaven who cannot fail. The God who loves you and made you, and the one and only GOD WHO LIVES and will always sustain you, if you make Him Lord of your life.

Faith = religion = hope something is true

Someone can be religious and not have faith. Having faith starts from the inside of the heart where no one can see and it works its way into out actions. There are many people who act religious but it's just that all an act. Mainly an act to pray upon individuals whether they are kids they're praying upon or adults for their money. Eventually the faith of each individual will be shown to be true faith or fake.
1 John 3:9
No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God's seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God

Due to the abysmal lack of evidence supporting the existence of a god or gods, one must possess faith to be religious. However, one can also have faith in a person or activity and not be religious.

Faith is another word for pretend. Nothing that is real needs any faith, unnecessary when knowledge is available, and it is available for anything that is real. Faith is failure admitted, accepting what you know is not true. And that makes no sense at all does it?

The fact of the matter: No: being religious meaning you are faithful to your denomination, meaning faithful to your church. having faith in God The Lord Jesus Christ our Lord Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior means you know that only God can save us from are sins, you know that God is the pillar and ground of truth only. Most people who go to church think that the church is the pillar and ground of truth and that is not so, because God is the only one that can save us from are sins, no church can ever save us from are sins.Source(s): King James holy bible

Faith is belief without evidence. Faith is necessary to believe in gods but it doesn't help determine which, if any, is a real god as believers in all the different gods have faith.
