Why vote for any incumbent in the US elections?
- random_manLv 78 months ago
Maybe if you think your representative or whatever is doing a good job, or if you value experience.

I'm generally in favor of term limits, but voters still place a premium on experience..

Did you mean incompetent ?
If so, was this a question only for Republican voters ?.

Because they have experience that a newby does not.

Because not voting doesnt create any outcome or effect. If you vote for someone, even if its only the lesser of two evils, you at least made a confrobution to tryig to ensure a favourable outcome to the election. If everyone who was eligible to vote did so, amd voted for the losing candidate, it wouldbhave changed the popular vote in every election for thr last 100 years. Theres even elections, like back in 1992, where it could have propelled an independent to victory.
