IS THERE A USA EMBASSY IN ILLINOIS?
- Rona LachatLv 73 weeks ago
No Embassies but there are about 80 consulates in the state if that helps you.
While Illinois and Washington may be far apart in politics or geography they are part of the same country and do not have international diplomatic relations with each other.

The Dept. of State website has most answers about traveling to other countries.

Embassies are only located in foreign countries, so no, there are no US Embassies within the US.

maybe in the part of ILLINOIS belonging to Canada. Embassies are a piece of property belonging to a foreign country, so in the US there are embassies from other countries. The closest thing to a US embassy in USA soil is probably Washington DC lol

no. Illinois is part of the United States. Embassies are located only in foreign countries, almost always in the capital city of that country.
