Prince Charles has coronavirus. Does this mean he is a goner and we should start preparing for the reign of King William?

It means he has it very mild and will soon to be to normal. The Queen is the

monarch and looks good for a few more years.

It is too early to say. But he has minor symptoms so it is likely he will recover.

Charles has a mild case and is working from home.

Not everyone who has the virus gets very sick or dies.

No one knows how the succession will work out--Charles could predecease his mother and William would be the heir,or Charles could survive his mother and become King. We just have to wait and see.

The Coronavirus is not a joking matter, and it is not appropriate to wish someone dead before their time.

He doesn't have any other 'underlying' health issues

and he has the best possible health care

so there is no more reason to think that he will die

than there is for any other healthy adult.

william should be preparing for his new job

No, he has a more than eighty percent chance of surviving. Also, the Queen doesn't seem to have it.

The virus is not fatal for everyone.  If he doesn’t have any underlying conditions he will make a full recovery.
