    First the earth cooled.  Then the dinosaurs came, but they got big and fat.  So they died and turned to oil.  Then the Arabs came and they bought Mercedes Benz's. And then Prince Charles started wearing all of Lady Di's clothes.

    there was a a thick toxic atmosphere from the asteroid impact. Mammals and rodents that lived under ground survived and then they bred to create new life
