Chemistry Help (conversions) ?

Need help understanding

The concentration of protein in a urine sample is calculated to be 1.82ng/(mu) (nanograms per microliter). What is the concentration of this solution in units of pounds per gallon. (Ib/gal)

    "mu" is not the abbreviation for "microliter" (nor anything else for that matter).

    Microliters are abbreviated μL or μl.

    (1.82 × 10^-9 g) / (10^-6 L) / (453.592 g/lb) × (3.78541 L/gal) = 1.52 × 10^-5 lb/gal
