Do our thoughts reach our body language instantly or do they take a second?

Do our thoughts reach our body language instantly or do they take a second to get to our body language?

    There's a very small delay, less than half a second. With even a smile, the brain has to translate the cause of the smile into a constant flow of messages to motor neurons that keep forming the smile until the stimulus fades or goes away.

    You aren't magic. There's no such thing as "instant" in biology or physics.

    You can look at when a car hits someone.

    It takes a second at least.

    We are our thoughts.  Unless we are brain damaged our bodies and minds work together as one.
