   I'm 20, I have no car, they keep holding me back all these months to start school I'm upset & my mother act like it's a big deal and yell?

    Without knowing who "they" is it's pretty hard to offer you advice.

    Good evening,  It seems to me that you need a job or start school but do one of them.  Then buy a car and get a place.  You are 20 and you are an adult.  Leave them to their life and you deserve yours.  Don't let them live your life for you.  It just makes sense.  Best wishes.

    I admire from american society how much independence the youth gains from early age. i'm 27 and never had a car, i could have but never, and i still live with mum.
