Yes. The Catholic Church teaches a Theistic evolution.
Evolution does not eliminate any Gods.
Evolution doesn't mention Gods.

Yes but not much point believing in an organised god (christian, hindu, muslim, jewish, sikh etc)
Best to believe in evolution with a general creator i think.

Yes, but it doesn't matter whether you "believe in evolution" or not, as it is a demonstrable fact.
Depends on what "demonstrable fact" means. You need to elaborate more, because while minor alterations are evident, macro-evolution isn't There's a lot of work on this calling it Punctuated Equilibrium. You can't just say "evolution is true" because what do you mean by that?

Yes. Most religious believer try to tie in evolution as all part of their deities plan. There is no real evidence or proof of this, but they try to assert it as fact just like they do with their beliefs. It is their way of trying to take something they know deep down disproves their religion, and incorporate it into their dogma. Religion starts off with an assumed conclusion from asserted dubious claims from questionable sources that are supported by logical fallacies nested within circular reasoning that brings you right back to the assumed conclusion. Personally I don't care what people want to believe as long as they don't try to pass laws using religion, or trying to cram it down my throat as fact. Which it is not. A fact is a point of data that is conclusive with or indicative of that which is tying to be shown as true. Religion has none of that. It is dishonest to assert as fact that which is not evidently true. A deity is not evidently true. ANY deity.
So if believers want to say that they except evolution, then that's fine. They become completely wrong when they assert it as part of their deities overall plan though.

Seems logical at first glance. But if asked, would you say Life/Universe was created by natural processes or by a omnipotent creator being what would you say.
Both? If so, then you must accept god’s limitations. God could not have created the universe any way he wanted. He must set the 'forces' and 'constants' within a very VERY narrow range for galaxies and life to form.
What makes you think god created it?

For the last seventy years the majority of us Christians have accepted evolution as a part of God's design.
Source(s): Greek Orthodox ChristianMajority of "Christians" must not read their bibles. If so, they would know in Genesis it says that GOD created everything including Man and Woman from dust and breathed the breath of life through HIS nostrils into them HIMSELF. No evolution, they came to "BE" because GOD brought them into being.
we did not, do not, teach we have a common ancestor. GOT IT? lies come from a sick mind, not a healthy one.
