Should you call a 17-20 year old teenager a boy or girl if that's what they want to be called?

I don't understand.  Do you mean should you call a 17 year old a boy or should you call him a man?  And "girl" or "woman?"   Or are you talking about someone who's confused?  PERSONALLY, I'd use whatever name they want, but I'd not lie about man / woman.   Of a man wanted me to say "she," I would not. I'd use his chosen name in place of the incorrect pronoun.
