Does signing into a student onedrive on your own computer give your college access to the rest of your computer?

Can they see files that aren't in the Onedrive?

No. "OneDrive" is a storage location on the Internet (run by Microsoft.) When you access a OneDrive site, the only thing you have access to are the files stored at that site. You can not somehow "follow" the OneDrive back to another computer. OneDrive does not exist on your computer and does not have access to your computer. It is separate and resides on the Internet.

Anything shared on onedrive is open season to anyone.

I not a public shared drive, it doesn't exist to anyone but you.

No. Nor do they have access to your onedrive for school. That would be a massive breach of privacy.
