How do you make fake blood?

    A bit of trivia: in the old black and white TV and movies days, they used chocolate syrup for fake blood. That obviously went out of style when TV and movies were all in color

    It is a lot easier and cheaper to get real blood. Just walk into an urban area with a bucket and $5. Ask the first homeless person you see. Fresh Blood! (not safe for consumption)

    Just get some pigs blood, hand him upside down and slit his neck and collect the blood in a bucket

    There is many fake blood recipes 1 is simply ketchup with a little bit of water added to it. Another is glycerin with red food coloring added to it.

    Edible Fake Blood Using Corn Syrup

    1/2 cup (120 ml) of red fruit punch

    1 cup (300 g) of corn syrup

    2 tablespoons of red food coloring

    1 tablespoon of chocolate syrup

    2 tablespoons of cornstarch

    1 tablespoon of cocoa powder/chocolate powder

    3 1/2 cups (16 ounces or 453 g) of powdered sugar

    1 ounce (2 tablespoons) of red food coloring
