So, the numbers are:

W .. W + 2 and W + 4 .. and .. W - 2 and W - 4

Which is:

W - 4 + W - 2 + W + W + 2 + W + 4

Rearrange that to get ..

W + W + W + W + W + 2 - 2 + 4 - 4

Giving you:

5W

Sum = (w - 4) + ( w - 2) + w + (w + 2) + (w + 4) = 5w
