Why do militant vegans falsely report meat eaters for trolling, when said meat eaters are not trolls?
(I want this to be in the category called Yahoo Answers, because this is not a food question. This is addressing the abuse that goes on the food category, or more accurately the Vegan & Vegetarian category.)
Yesterday, there was a user who posted a question about how to fool meat eaters with fake meat. And absolutely everybody (including myself) who objected to his question was called a troll and falsely reported. So far, my answer and a few others remained. My question is this: Why are the real trolls abusing the Report Abuse button, falsely reporting other users for trolling, when said users are not trolling, but are targeted by the real trolls? Are there users on here who abuse the Report Abuse button, in order to bully and harass?

Perhaps this person is trying to transition to a less meat centered diet and wants to make the change a little less drastic. That doesn't make them a troll.
But ignorant bashing of questions you don't agree with is the ultimate troll hallmark (almost like 7s used to do with question moving). So before calling somebody a troll, best define who the troll is.

Yahoo cluelessly adopts policies which CAN be abused, so they ARE abused. Very simple.

Dude please. People who get reported tend to draw attention to themselves in the first place. Just seek knowledge. Dont step on peoples toes, dont argue with folks. Dont ask incendiary questions. Not saying you do, but you know, be low key.Source(s): nothing

Vegans don't eat meat, because people in Hollywood say they don't eat meat.

The real question is, why would a meat eater actively participate in the Vegan & Vegetarian category unless to create chaos or "troll"? They have made their dietary choice and don't need meat eaters telling them they should eat meat, mocking them or bragging about how much meat they eat and are never going to stop.

The site has ALWAYS had users who would report posts that weren't violations. There always will be. Nobody knows who reported any of the posts you're referring to (reporting is anonymous). Anyone who had a post wrongfully removed, is free to appeal it.
The site is for knowledge seeking questions and answers to them. Rants, attacks, and groups taking petty pot-shots at each other isn't what the site is for (and is immature and changes nothing). Users report other user's posts, regardless of what they eat, what political slant they side with, what religion they are, what skin color, what nationality, what sex, what income level, etc. It is what it is.
Users can appeal wrongful post removal here:
and include - The specific text of the post that was deleted, The violation reason specified in the notification email (if you got one, if you didn’t get one then make that known), The reason why you'd like it reviewed, and The Yahoo ID you're using in Yahoo Answers (if you don’t include that info, you’ll get an email asking for it. Sometimes even when you do include, you get an email asking for it).

Maybe if you stopped posting mindless rants like this and attacking lo-mcg over and over you wouldn't keep getting reported over and over.

Trolls destroy the point of everything.

No one knows why they do what they do, but if it bothers you so much, find other things to focus your attention on.

How would anyone know if I were a mat eater or not? I can handle those militant vegans falsely reporting me any day of the week. Bring them on.
