What does it mean to 'woman-up' to the challenge of dismantling toxic femininity...?

    For ages, the words "to man up" has meant to act like a man, or to face the truth.  "To woman up" is a neologism, which means the same as "to man up", but it applies to females.  Personally, I think it's a bit overboard and is an example of toxic femininity.

      I think both terms are absurd; how about "human-up."

    It means show courage, basically the same as 'man up' for the female gender.
