Is God committing “murder” when he makes women miscarry?
Since so many of you believe abortion to 6-8 week old fetuses is “murder”, then is it murder when God makes women miscarry? Some of these happen very late into the pregnancy. Why is it bad when women do it but not when God does?

I agree. The abrahamic od is a baby-killer as "recorded" in Hosea.
Hosea 9:11-16 Hosea prays for God’s intervention. “Ephraim shall bring forth his children to the murderer. Give them, 0 Lord: what wilt thou give? Give them a miscarrying womb and dry breasts. . .Ephraim is smitten, their root is dried up, they shall bear no fruit: yea though they bring forth, yet will I slay even the beloved fruit of their womb.” Clearly Hosea desires that the people of Ephraim can no longer have children. God of course obeys by making all their unborn children miscarry. Is not terminating a pregnancy unnaturally “abortion”?
Numbers 5:11-21 The description of a bizarre, brutal and abusive ritual to be performed on a wife SUSPECTED of adultery. This is considered to be an induced abortion to rid a woman of another man’s child.
Numbers 31:17 (Moses) “Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every women that hath known man by lying with him.” In other words: women that might be pregnant, which clearly is abortion for the fetus.
Hosea 13:16 God promises to dash to pieces the infants of Samaria and the “their women with child shall be ripped up”. Once again this god kills the unborn, including their pregnant mothers.
2 Kings 15:16 God allows the pregnant women of Tappuah (aka Tiphsah) to be “ripped open”. And the Christians have the audacity to say god is pro-life. How and the hell is it that Christians can read passages where God allows pregnant women to be murdered, yet still claim abortion is wrong?

God almost never makes women miscarry. Not even God gets everything he wants.

The causes of miscarriages are well understood, and they are not supernatural.

Miscarriages typically result from some basic, defect/malfunction in the natural, birth process. Abortion is the deliberate killing of a human infant.
God causes neither.Source(s): www.askmeaboutgod.org

Maybe God thinks it's fun to get couples all excited about a baby, then kill it before it's born. Do you think maybe he has a sick sense of humor?

If so, does that mean everyone who dies naturally is murdered by God? The commandment "Thou shall not murder" applies only to humans. Murder means unjustified killing. The New Testament already reveals that God can easily reverse all sickness and even death, so any argument that implies that physical death is an "ultimate sign of God's evilness" should be void. The charge of murder applies to us because we can't do what God does in resurrecting souls.

Also something like 2 in 3 fertilized eggs fail to imbed. According to some Christians if it is fertilized it has a soul.
So either God is not sufficiently omnipotent to have all these eggs implant, or he is responsible for killing 3 times the cumulative global population.

If abortion is murder of a fetus, then all miscarriages should be investigated for murder. A LOT of people will be up for manslaughter charges.
If a fetus has that type of right, a right to life, then they MUST have due process when mom misses her vitamins or dad drives over the train tracks too fast.
