is clove oil good for toothache pain?

have BAD TOOTHACHE( broken tooth and a tooth that needs a cavatity and root canal) and need some remedies for home motrin isnt helping and someone said try clove oil first time trying and scared dont know what to expect from it. if not what’s your rememdies, and no i dont have insurance for a dentist right if so i would be going to them instead of yahoo

i would just try it and see and then you'll know, garlic is a herbal antibiotic, it helped me when i had tooth pain
