The two hands of a clock at this point at 4:pm exactly, At what time next will they be in the same position ( on over the other)?

    Approximately 4:22 am, unless it is a 24 hour clock. Then it would be 24 hours later around 16:22.

    Suppose the two hands will be in the same position ( that is one over the other) in t hours.

    In t hours the hour hand will travel 30*t degrees,

    and will make an angle of 120+30t with the vertical

    In t hours the minute hand will travel 360*t degrees and will make an angle of 360t with the vertical

    Equatiing the two we have 120+30t = 360t

    or t =  120/330 =  4/11 hours
