I just got a job in a bookshop, even though in the interview I said I don't know anything about books and don't read, your thoughts?

They were probably looking for someone to dust and stock the shelves rather than someone to give recommendations.

Your job will involve taking the customers money, giving them the correct change and placing their book in a bag, then giving them a receipt , Whether or not you will like reading is not the point, it is about SELLING the merchandise.

I work in a bar but I don't drink and I said that in the interview. Think they liked that cos lot if ppl call in for hangovers, they know k can't use that excuse and I am very reliable.
