Can someone decrypt this?

My friend gave me the number '0,0000,000'

and told me to decrypt it.

She gave me a hint, which was apparently '071'. I'm suspecting that it's a message which you read upside down, but I seriously don't know how you get numbers from a bunch of zeroes.

That looks more like a hash than ciphertext. If that’s the case, and it’s a proper hashing algorithm, then it would be at best very difficult to work backward from the hash to the original string. That’s kind of the point.

That being said, even if I could do it, that doesn’t mean I would. Hashing is frequently used for passwords, and well, I wouldn’t crack one of those for someone even if I had the ability.

I think the hint wasn't "071", the "0" was an upside down U, and you should read the whole thing upside down.
