Will the drone strikes on Saudi Arabia cause oil prices to go higher for the foreseeable future or is this only a short term gain?

Depends if this becomes a regular thing or not. We hope it will.

Saudi Arabia is going to use its reserves , but I fully expect to see prices go higher for some time.

Short term at the moment. Should help Venezuela if prices go up though.

Short term rise of around 10% however there is talk of another longer 3% due to the obvious vulnerability.

The law of supply and demand causes prices to rise or fall; less oil, or even the threat of less oil, will in turn push up its price.

I hope so, the less people on the road the better for the environment, and a bit of time with expensive petrol will increase the incentive for us to switch to electric powered vehicles, these drone operators have done a good thing.
