Why do I have this "elevator feeling"?

You know that sinking/flaoting feeling you get when you ride on an elevator? I've recently been experiencing this. A couple minutes after I ride the elevator at school, I get this same feeling when I'm standing still on level ground. I have no history of motion sickness, and I'm not experiencing any pain or nausea when this is happening.

I'd guess some kind of inner ear disturbance. If this doesn't go away you might go see a doctor. Sometimes a deep ear infection that doesn't cause pain can cause vertigo.

Maybe you have a ear-Eustachian tube blockage. Those will make you dizzy.

Inner ear problem, anemia, lots of things can cause this feeling.

Time to see a doctor and get it checked out.
