How can you accept or reject someone you dont believe exists?

You cant. If you dont believe in Santa Claus this doesn't mean you're rejecting him. Same goes for magical Jesus.

You also cannot sent yourself to a place you don't believe exists can you? This means that people who dont believe in Christ are not rejecting him and sending themselves to a hell they dont believe in.

What I have explained is basic enough for a 5 year old to figure out and you Christians know it though you're the most dishonest people I know of so you will most likely disagree with me and pretend you can read minds.

I think many consider rejecting the claim as rejecting the Being since from their perspective their belief has wrongly become their knowledge. Part of this problem is strictly on this particular belief because part of the game is you really have to trust that God is real in order to get His Rewards. It's a rather selfish position that promotes a higher likelihood of self delusion.

Because what you choose to believe or disbelieve has no bearing on Reality

    God is

Belief (or disbelief) has no effect on the truth of God.

He exists and you know He does. You simply hate the God you know exists and you suppress the truth because you know you are unrighteous before Him.

You are correct but most of the nuts here don't understand it.

  • What do you think of the answers? You can sign in to give your opinion on the answer.
  • YOu make a perfect case for why you are WRONG. You use Santa Claus as an example and then say "I say Santa does not exist" therefore he doesn't. But that is mere misuse of words. He is St Nicholaus

As usual you take words to be things THEY ARE NOT.

  • That is both illogical and a misuse of words. You can't accept OR reject until YOU define what it is. And you refuse that because you KNOW that this kind of thinking is YOUR EXCUSE

And Santa Claus is St Nicholas -- an example that DESTROYS your statement :)

If someone told you in 1806 a machine like cars will exist in 1936, you'd either believe it or not, or at the very least, take them on faith.

    What to do?

You'd probably judge by the person telling you, by what could happen, by if it's possible, then make a decision.

The right thing to do is not to dismiss the idea out of hand. Give them the benefit of the doubt.

So it's better to give yourself to the Lord and he will show you the way.

Whatever, be prepared for the consequences of your choices.

If you refuse to believe the mysterious "dark matter" exists, such as because it's never been seen, only only has suggestive evidence and calculated maps of where it may be...and for about the nature of it astrophysicists continue to speculate with many unconfirmed ideas -- if you refuse to believe it exists, then you are 'rejecting' the concept.

I've seen some that reject this concept it is matter come up with wildly speculative new theories to try to explain the then-very-odd rotation curves of galaxies and other effects which it is believed to account for, so they merely shift their belief from one idea to another idea. They continue to believe in something (give more than just zero credence to a new hypothesis), after they have rejected the idea of 'dark matter'.

Why don't you believe in Santa Claus?

Santa Claus is the English translation of the name Sinterklaas - the dutch form of the name Saint Nicholas. He was a man who loved Jesus and gave all he had to help poor orphans.

But if you don't believe in Santa Claus, and what all the other cloud of witnesses have been telling you... then neither will you believe even if someone was to rise from the dead.

Don't you have to accept it to believe it?
