Virtuosos don't interest me much, but here's my assembled band that would be the best band ever:

Stephen Malkmus (Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks) - lead guitar/vocals

Scott Kannberg (Preston School of Industry) - rhythm guitar/addl vocals

Mark Ibold (Sonic Youth) - bass

Bob Nostanovich (the Silver Jews) - keys/percussion/addl vocals

Steve West (Marble Valley) - Drums

You could call them Asphalt, or Street Surface Material. Something like that.

Yes. That is the joke. Luckily they all have other projects to reference.

The shadows were my favourite band as a kid and I just loved how he made it look SO easy. He was my inspiration for playing bass!

I'd pick: John Paul Jones (bass and organ), John Bonham (drums), Jimmy Page (guitar) and Robert Plant (vocals). Hey, that's Led Zeppelin. Who knew?
