Any advice for a soon-to-be freshman in high school?

    Yes a little. The work will be harder, people you knew since elementary will change dramatically not only physically but also in their personality, and things will be unnerving the first week of school but once you get the hang of it you should be fine.

    just don't get in people's way and you'll be fine. i mean this figuratively and literally. for one, don't walk slow in the hallway or block the path of other people. nobody likes that and you'll probably be run over, shoved aside, or yelled at if you do. also, just don't really impede on other people and what they choose to do or not. mind your own business and people will leave you alone, but also don't be afraid to talk to other people. also, obviously, work hard in school because now it really counts towards college (if you plan on going). get involved in clubs and extracurricular activities for the same reason. make friends. make good choices. have fun. put yourself out there. don't date any seniors, even if you think they really like you.

    If your school offers them, take a trade course on construction. You'll save so much money over the rest of your existence if you can maintain your own home.
