An employer told me to call them?

I applied for a job and a few weeks later I get an email from the employer telling me to call them whenever I'm available.

This would be my first job

what should I expect?

Do they want me to call to tell me that I got an interview?

Update:

lol, why did someone put this in the fast-food category? this is an office job.

More than likely they want to ask you a few questions, then depending on your answers, they will make the determination as to whether they want to interview you in person. Expect to be asked a few questions on your availability, skills, work ethic, transportation, education...good luck SPARKY!

  • They will most likely interview you over the phone when you call them.

They usually ask about your availability why you want to work for them and they may ask you a few questions about your resume. If you do well with that then you could get a face to face interview or a group interview.

    Good luck.

Probably a phone interview to see if they want or need a real interview. Just call, don't overthink it.

If its food, don't call during lunch rush from 12-2.
