Absolutely. Last week we went around and buried all of those fossils.

By way of having true devotion to the Immaculate Heart of the Virgin Mary, a person can know with certainty Jesus exists and is God.

No. Those fossil creatures lived. There's nothing wrong with using science and taking advantage of it. As long as we don't try to make it our God.

Hon, if you need to think that so you can feel better about your own sad little belief system, you go right ahead.

    Dinosaurs dont prove evolution

Yeah, sure. All those bones are fakes and we regularly dispatch people to dig them out using paintbrush just for the sake of it. We go as far as bringing those fossils in secrecy to nuclear reactors so that they would be subjected to just the right amount of radio-isotopes so that the dating match, which is no small feat and costs us billions of dollar each day.

And don't get me started about the problem of implanting just a touch of "dinosaur" DNA in fossils so that they look genuine. Since some of those fossils were found even before DNA was discovered, we had to invent a time machine to go change them. Of course, as a side effect, we used the opportunity to advise our ancestors to invest in Microsoft, Apple, Google and Amazon on our behalf...

Atheism is the disbelief in gods. That's it. Atheism has nothing to do with science and vice versa.

The existence of dinosaurs in the past is science and is accepted by theists and atheists alike. Dinosaurs lived on this planet for about 180 million years before becoming extinct, except for the birds, at the K-Pg mass extinction about 65 million years ago. That is accepted by all the mainstream Christian religions.

It isn't the Christians who reject science, it is the Old Testament Fundamentalists, the Biblical Literalists who do. Fortunately they are a small minority in most western countries but there is a plethora of them in the USA, probably because of poor education standards.

Science and paleontology don't care what religion you are. It is not significant.

  • Did atheists also invent the dinosaur DNA?
