When will adobe reader start supporting EPUB files?

    Probably never. They already have a program for ebooks that supports EPUB files.

    Adobe Digital Editions displays ePub files, so there is little or no motivation to add such functionality to Reader.  Adobe Digital Editions is generally not recommended, however, due to spyware-like behaviors.

    um, never. that isn't what it is for, and there are far better softwares out there for EPUB, such as Calibre.

    Reader has ONLY ever supported PDFs, which is the format it was written for. not sure why you think you need Reader for EPUBs, but you don't, and never have.

      i downloaded some ebooks they were in epub format, searched the net but didnt find any proper thing so finally pinged here, somehow later i got a best software that did the job by converting as original with chapter wise.

    The deadline to do this is 24 June 2019, but it will be a bit delayed by a few days. The software upgrade will be on the website. I work for Adobe.
