Why do almost all Walmart carts have specifically a bad left front wheel?

I would say it is done on purpose so you will not want to push the cart further than the car park as the things are hard to control. People taking shopping carts home is a major problem as they are worth a couple hundred dollars each to replace.

It's to make you go to parts of the store where you don't intend to, so you get tempted to buy something you probably would not have bought. Other stores have similar design 'faults' in their trollies.
