Can I attempt a backflip with almost no gymnastic training?

I'm 15 and the only things I've attempted are backbends, handstands and stuff like that. I learned those from the internet like five years ago, they weren't too hard and I can still do them. Recently I've been really interested in parkour and I haven't attempted any flips yet, but I really want to do a backflip. If I get a mat or go to a trampoline park would it be safe for me to try it?

    you don't necessarily need training per se, but it's good to do it on a mat or soft surface until you get it down. or even with a buddy to help spot you.
