Well someone who believes in God and not atheist. I don't think they have to be devout, because that would be boring.

Whatever floats your boat. And even if the other person is not Christian that does not make them evil. Coming from different beliefs can be shared.

I believe someone should date someone they like/love regardless of what religion because at the end of the day love is love you cant choose who you fall in love with

yes. If two people don't share the same beliefs it will not work out.

thats a possibility. usually works if its two pool of similar religions though, like catholic and Lutheran. Unless the women is not religious and doing it to be a god wife.

What would Christ say? Didn’t he hang out with publicans and adventuresses?

He hung out to be a witness to them and to teach them. He didn't date or marry them. But as a Christian we can still witness and reach out to the unsaved. Or atheist or someone who does not believe in the same things.

Many in the world ‘date’ for recreational purposes, just to have fun or a good time. But for Christians, dating should be courting – a method by which to get to know whether a person would be a potential marriage mate. (Dating for recreational purposes with no intention of marrying is another subject altogether and leads to all types of difficulty.) God’s word the Bible tells Christians not to become unevenly yoked. 2 Corinthians 6:14, 15. The Bible also tells us at Romans 15:4 that all things that were recorded before is recorded for our instruction. That would include Solomon’s examples – both good and bad. Solomon’s bad example of marrying non-believers led to his downfall.

So yes, having conformed my way of thinking to God’s ways – which are always beneficial – I believe that all Christians should date only Christians with a view to finding a mate.

so if you converted does that mean you dated recreationally and were promiscuous before? if so gentleman or man of higher rank would even consider marrying you.
